Agofure Donates Palliative To Agbarho Kingdom

Deputy Leader of Ughelli North Legislative Arm, and Councillor representing Agbarho ward 1, Hon Onoriode Agofure has donated food items as palliative to Agbarho kingdom in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State to cushion the hard effect of  the coronavirus pandemic.
Items donated as palliative are, 52 bags of rice, 32 bags of garri, 150 cartons of Indomie noodles, 1,600 loaves of bread over 3,000 Face masks.
Presenting the items at the community town hall, Agofure said, “We know that the lockdown has been eased partially, and we also realized that the people are not yet fully on their feet, I felt the need to donate to my kingdom these relief materials to help in cushioning the effects of the pandemic.
According to Agofure “I am concerned about the welfare of my people and deemed it fit to ameliorate their suffering with these food items as part of my contribution and measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am appealing to my people of Agbarho to stay safe by avoiding acts that could exposed them to the deadly disease, they should abide by the necessary precautions even with the partial relaxation at of the lockdown.
“I will continue to use my position to see to the welfare and development of Agbarho Kingdom as I enjoined them to remain united and supportive of the state government.
Receiving the palliative, president of Agbarho, Chief Igho Odiphri while expressing gratitude to Agofure said, “For this his magnanimity of sending palliative to Agbarho kingdom shows that he loves his people and we are grateful to him.
“He could have  send these item to his community, party leaders and ward but he deemed it fit that it should be send to the central executive to be distributed amongst all Agbarho communities.
“If you are a leader, you lead everybody because once an election is won, everyone become your subject and that is what he has displayed today and I am appealing to others to do same”. Odiphri stated.
