A train conveying 148 passengers and 30 crew members from Warri in Delta state to Itakpe on Sunday derailed inside Kogi forest, forcing them (passengers and crew to be stranded. It was learned, the train left Warri early Sunday and got derailed at around noon inside the forest between Ajaokuta and Itakpe.
