By Joel Grandball, Comrade Jon Egie has been elected as the chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ughelli Correspondent Chapel defeating the incumbent, Comrade Polycarp Orosevwotu and Comrade Mathias Ogbagah defeated Comrade Kofa Kings. In a keenly contested elections, Egie won with 12 votes to defeat Polycarp with 11 and Mathias scored 17 votes to defeat Kofa with who pulled 6 votes respectively.
