Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Sen Ede Dafinone, has marked his third anniversary in the Senate, expressing gratitude to constituents for their continued support and reaffirming his commitment to advancing the development of the district.
In a statement commemorating three years anniversary, Dafinone described the occasion as a moment of reflection, appreciation and renewed dedication to public service.
The lawmaker thanked traditional rulers, community leaders, party faithful, youth and women groups, as well as residents of Delta Central, for the confidence reposed in him since his election.
According to him, “Today marks three years since I was sworn in as the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I remain profoundly grateful for that trust and for the steadfast support, prayers, and encouragement of our traditional institutions, community leaders, party faithful, youth and women groups, and the good people of Delta Central.”
Reflecting on his stewardship, Dafinone stated that his efforts over the past three years had been directed towards providing effective representation, amplifying the voice of Delta Central at the national level, and pursuing policies and programmes aimed at fostering growth and development across the senatorial district.
“Over the past three years, I have remained committed to providing effective representation, giving our people a strong voice in national affairs, and advancing policies and initiatives that promote development and opportunity across our district,” he said.
The senator, however, acknowledged the economic difficulties confronting many Nigerians, noting that families and businesses continue to grapple with challenging conditions.
According to him, such realities underscore the need for sustained efforts and purposeful leadership to address the concerns of citizens and improve their quality of life.
“While we have made meaningful progress, I am mindful of the economic challenges many families and businesses continue to face. These realities reinforce the need for sustained effort and purposeful leadership,” he stated.
Looking ahead, Dafinone pledged to intensify efforts aimed at expanding economic opportunities, promoting education and skills acquisition, advocating critical infrastructure projects, and supporting initiatives that would strengthen Delta Central and contribute to national development.
“As we move forward, my focus remains on expanding economic opportunities, supporting education and skills development, advocating critical infrastructure, and championing initiatives that will strengthen Delta Central and contribute to Nigeria’s long-term growth and prosperity,” he added.
Describing the anniversary as more than a ceremonial milestone, the senator said it represented a reaffirmation of his commitment to serve with diligence, integrity and purpose.
“This anniversary is not merely a moment of reflection but a reaffirmation of my commitment to serve with diligence, integrity, and purpose. I remain dedicated to justifying the confidence reposed in me and to advancing the interests of the people of Delta Central,” he said.
Dafinone expressed appreciation to the people of the district for the opportunity to serve, assuring them of his continued dedication to building a more prosperous future for the senatorial district and the nation at large.
