2023: My Ambition Is A Call For Youths Development, Empowerment – Dr. Onoyona

A House of Representatives hopeful under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) for Isoko Federal Constituency, Dr. Sylvester Onoyona has said that his ambition to represent Isoko Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections is a call for youths development and empowerment in the area.

 

He made this known during an interactive session with newsmen in Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on his missions and vision for the Isoko nation.

 

He stated that, youth are the foundation of a society, and that their energies, inventiveness, character and orientation define the pace of development and security of a nation.

 

According to him, “The youths through their creative talents and labour power, a nation makes giant strides in economic development and socio-political attainments.

 

He added that, The youths in their dreams and hopes, a nation founds her motivation; on their energies, she builds her vitality and purpose, noting that their dreams and aspirations, the future of a nation is assured.

 

He said that, the youths is the reason why he set up an NGO called Delta Youths of Today Association, through which he has effectively reached out to his people in the core areas of youth empowerment, community development, and education.

 

He affirmed that, amidst the supposed challenges of youth unemployment and under-employment, social vices, moral decadence and delinquency, youth development is a sustainable panacea to surmount these challenges.

 

He promised that if given the mandate he will creates a model with a coordinated, progressive series of activities and experiences which will help the youths to become socially, morally, economically, physically and cognitively competent.
