Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has condemned in the strongest terms the unwarranted and unprovoked killing of a defenceless youth, Mena Ogidi by a police officer, ASP Nuhu Usman. Oborevwori in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, described the act as barbaric, unlawful and a grave violation of the sanctity of human life. The Nigeria Police Force hereby provides an update on the disciplinary actions taken following the fatal shooting incident of 26th April 2026 in Effurun, Delta State, which resulted in the death of Mr Mene Ogidi.
