Kwale Industrial Park : Apologize to PDP, Okowa Aide Tells APC

ASABA- As political stakeholders, Deltans, and well meaning Nigerians continued to poor Condemnations on the frivolous press release made by APC Leadership in Delta State through his Publicity Secretary, Barr. Sylvester Imonia on a well- thought economic exercise capable of promoting employment opportunities for over 75, 000 youths in the state as embarked by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Investments, and Industrial Revolution by establishing Kwale Industrial Park (KIP), the SSA to Governor on Inter- Party Relations in Delta State has mandated the APC in the State to apologise to Delta State Government and PDP administration over unguarded utterances.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Inter-party Relations, Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah disclosed this to our reporter today in a press release in his office here in Asaba .

Delta APC’s press release reads in part as signed by it’s Publicity Secretary, Barr. Sylvester Imonia: ” He States unequivocally that the proposed Industrial Park is a ploy by the PDP led Government in Delta State to further fritter away the resources of the state and therefore called on the Governor and it’s cronies to jettison this selfish interest of theirs for the interest of the masses”.

“In a bid to enrich some few pockets at the expense of tax payers money, that Delta State should not become a centre for white elephant projects”.

“The party noted that the move is perturbing both to the APC and Deltans at large stressing that, just like the industrial park located in the Oil City of Warri is between sixty (60) to seventy ( 70) percent completion stage but later abandoned, they refused to disclosed how much was budgeted for the proposed Industrial Park in Kwale and how they intend bringing it to reality”.

Delta PDP Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza in a counter press release revealed that the Warri Industrial Park was abandoned by the previous administration led by Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan due to court cases over land ownership.

” Upon assumption of office Governor Okowa set up a committee to know what was holding up the Warri Business Industrial Park during which he found out that the land was not properly acquired by the previous administration, as a result there are currently between 10 to 13 matters in court by the original owners”, Dr. Osuoza stated.

As the press release by the APC leadership in the State continues to generate Condemnations by Deltans and Well meaning Nigerians, while urging Delta State Government to keep to it’s initiative towards reducing youths unemployment in the state, stakeholders has stated that APC insinuation is borne out of political bad blood towards discouraging industrial revolution embarked by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

The Senior Special Assistant on Inter-party Relations has urged Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to continue in his positive economic agenda and avoid distractions from unreasonable and visionless critics urging other oppositions parties mostly the APC to offer viable advice to the State government capable of helping the masses.

The press release as signed by the SSA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Inter-party Relations urged APC to as a matter of urgency retrieve her poor political theory aimed at inciting the masses against a well – Coordinated, articulate, masses friendly and Citizens oriented Government, viable economic policies very friendly to investors towards industrial revolution and reduction of poverty, youth unemployment and meeting the target of United Nations Sustainable development Goals (17 SDGs).
