Ahead of the official announcement of the results of the just concluded Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries, a political pressure group in Delta State Deltans, under the auspices of “Concern Group For Good Governance, CG4GG” has drummed support for House of Representatives aspirant for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency, Mr Johnny Obakpororo, urged the NDC National Working Committee (NWC) to be wary of sycophants in the party.
The group in a press statement signed by its national coordinator, Gen. Felix Ovuodoroye Feco and its national secretary, Gen. Thompson Etarighobe respectively noted that the House of Representatives aspirant for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency, Mr Johnny Obakpororo is the best and most sellable candidate for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency come the 2027 general elections.
According to the statement, after the group conducted a thorough Vox Pop with various aspirants vying for the seat of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency in the 2027 general elections, Mr Johnny Obakpororo was considered the most qualified and sellable candidate for the job.
The statement cautioned the leadership of the NDC to be mindful of the wolves in sheep’s clothing within the NDC whose missions are yet to be cleared to the party faithful.
While drumming massive support for the aspirant of the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency, Mr Johnny Obakpororo, the statement stated that amongst all the aspirants jostling for the seat of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency on the platform of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is the most accessible and vibrant aspirant.
“We, as a group called on the national working committee members of NDC to give the party’s ticket to those who can deliver the party in the forthcoming general elections in the country.
“We found Johnny Obakpororo the most transparent, accessible, and sellable person who can fly the party’s flag in the 2027 general elections”.
