Edevbie Appreciates Supporters, Calls For Brain Storming Movement

Frontline contender for the seat of power in 2023, Olorogun David Edevbie has lauded the continued support of his supporters and followers towards his ambition in the forthcoming elections.

Olorogun Edevbie who was the immediate past Chief of Staff to Delta State Governor, Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa described the support for his ambition as a Movement to change the history by creating our future.

In a statement signed and obtained from his facebook page, the former Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning during Chief James Onanefe Ibori era as the state governor disclosed that, “No one will appear from the sky to create a more equitable society of shared prosperity and abundant opportunities for us”.

The statement reads,

My fellow Deltans,

First of all, I want to thank you for your support. The energy we have been receiving on this Platform since we launched has been awesome.

Thank you for your likes, comments follows and consistent engagement, and thank you for inviting your friends and family to participate in the on-going conversations here.

We have begun a Movement; a Movement to change our history by creating our future. We are our own Miracle and greatest blessing. The solution we have been looking for is right with us. No one will appear from the sky to create a more equitable society of shared prosperity and abundant opportunities for us. We are going to have to do it ourselves. God Almighty has already answered our prayers by giving us ourselves to help ourselves. And we will. It is the reason I am excited about this Movement. I am confident that we are, together, about to change the trajectory of Delta. We will write a new story that changes history. Believe me, when I say it, the future is truly Deltan.

Now please pay attention: for a while now, we have all, as a community, been referencing the Modernisation narrative. Today, I would like us to have a brainstorming session, as we have been doing for some time now, and, in specifics, I want you to share with the rest of our community and me what Modernisation means to you.

What do you have in mind when you hear Modernisation? What are your expectations from it? What, in your own understanding and as a matter of concern, does an Administration focused on modernisation have to do to be rated high by you?

Kindly share your answers and opinions in the comment section below. Also, like, save, and share this post with your friends and family.

Many thanks again for all that you do and for your consistent support so far.

Together, we will deliver a modern future for our dear State.
