Oil prices rose on Tuesday as the U.S. reintroduced sanctions against major crude exporter, Iran, tightening global markets. Meanwhile, heatwave across Europe and other areas pushes oil up. A Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan on Tuesday dissolved a 22-year marriage between Ajara Lawal and her husband, Dauda, citing abandonment, irresponsibility, and inhumanity. Ghanaian president sacks energy minister

President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana has relieved Minister for Energy, Boakye Agyarko, of his post with immediate effect, the presidency said. According to the presidency, Mr Akufo-Addo has asked Mr Agyarko to hand over to John Amewu, the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, who would act temporarily as Minister for Energy, until a substantive appointment is made.
