Central bank clears 3,000 youths for federal government’s agric scheme in Kaduna

The Kaduna State Government on Tuesday said the first batch of 3,000 youths had been cleared to benefit in the Federal Government’s Accelerated Agricultural Development Scheme. Yusuf Abdullahi, AADS Desk Officer in the state Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Kaduna. Suspected herdsmen kill two soldiers, injure two others in Benue

At least, two Nigerian soldiers were, on Tuesday, killed and two others injured after they were ambush by suspected herdsmen in Benue State. Lawyer Udeme Otike-Odibi jailed for cutting hubby’s penis, killing him

An Igbosere High Court in Lagos on Monday remanded a 48-year-old female lawyer, Udeme Otike-Odibi, at Kirikiri prison for killing her 52-year-old husband, Symphorosa Otike-Odibi, and also chopping off his penis. Udeme, 47, was arraigned by the Lagos State Government on a two-count charge of murder and misconduct with regard to a corpse. She however pleaded not guilty to the charge.
