Cross River forecasts N100b revenue from rice city project

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River said that the State Rice City Project  is expected to generate at least N70 billion  yearly with full federal government patronage. 107 confirmed dead in Cuban plane crash

Only three persons survived when a Cuban plane with 110 passengers and crew on board crashed shortly after taking off from Havana on Friday, officials confirmed. Cuban state media reported that three women had been pulled alive from the mangled wreckage and were in critical condition in hospital. An internal petition calling for Google to stay out of “the business of war” was gaining support Tuesday, with some workers reportedly quitting to protest a collaboration with the US military.
