A 56-year-old Italian woman from Treviso in Veneto has defied medical theory by giving birth to a baby without assisted fertility treatment. According to reports in the Italian press, the unidentified woman gave birth to a girl, called Beatriz, at Angelo di Mestre hospital in late December. The Minister of State For Petroleum Resources, Dr Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, on Thursday said the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has incurred a cumulative loss of N85.5 billion in importing petrol and selling at the current retail price of N145 per litre.
