Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has today signed 3 bills passed by the Delta State House of Assembly into law. The three bills include the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) Bill, Local Government Amendment Bill and the Administration of the Criminal Justice Bill. The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Oborovweri, accompanied by principal officers of the legislature, presented the bills to the Governor at the Government House, Asaba. The bills were signed in the presence of top government functionaries present at the meeting.

Kogi to hit market with rice, fish

Kogi state is to flood the markets with rice and fish by December following the mass production of the products by the state-owned Omi Agricultural Development Centre.
