Ward Congress: Obakpororo Lauds APC Peaceful Congress In Ughelli North

The chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State, Hon. Onoabedje Obakpororo has described the the ward congress as one the best in recent times.
Speaking after casting his vote at about 10.45 am on Saturday at Eserophe Primary school Ughelli in Ughelli North local government area Obakpororo disclosed that the party is poised to take over Delta state come 2023.
According to him, “The ward congress was a success and rancour free in Ughelli North and as you can see, APC faithful came in their large numbers to participate in the congress without any hitches.
“This ward 2/6 is a segment of Ughelli North and the congress was a successful one across board, no fighting, quarreling of any sort.
Speaking further on the fragmentation of the APC, Obakpororo held that when any party is on a verge of congress, there always an aggrieved persons and the party is divided across the line and that does not mean that the party is not ready for future elections.
After a candidate has emerge, it is for the party to do harmonization, reconciliation and forge ahead but those who are not satisfied will go and it will interest you to know that those who will be coming will be more than those going out of the party and that is the beauty of the game.
“As you can see people from different units that made up the ward came and participated in the congress conducted by INEC officials and they are going to their various units quietly.
“With this successful ward congress, the other parties are jittery and come 2023, APC will wrestle power from them and mantle the seat of power in Asaba”.
