The Anambra State Police Command has commenced an investigation into an alleged child trafficking incident following the rescue of a 37-year-old woman from an angry mob at a private hospital in Obosi. The suspect, identified as Anurika Nweme, was rescued by operatives attached to the Awada Divisional Police Headquarters at Divine Mercy Hospital, located along Eze Iweka Road, Awada, Obosi, after she was accused of suspicious activities within the hospital premises.
