PDP in Delta South share the same believe, share the same idealogy, we just met here this evening in line with view of political developments in Delta state. We have met here to strengthen our positions as a far as elections are concerned in Delta State under our party, the Peoples Democratic Party. And that is precisely why we are here to meet and to discuss and to chat a way for the betterment of our senatorial district, the Delta South senatorial district and our party, the PDP.

The resolutions that we have reached, if you look at our last meeting in PEEMOS hotel, we reached the resolution that we of like minds that are here have endorsed and gave our support to one of the governorship candidates, the person of Chief Sheriff Oborevwori and secondly we also agreed that we of Delta South Senatorial District should give maximum support to our party, the PDP so that our place pride that we have enjoyed as far as our voting strength is concerned since the formation of this party since 1999 should not be eroded.

We called on our brothers from the Ijaw ethnic nationality and the Isoko, Itsekiris and the Urhobos at Warri to give maximum support to our party, the Peoples Democratic Party, because we are still in charge of Delta State and by God grace, we don’t want to lose our position as far as the state is concerned.

We don’t have fear about our candidate, we know ourselves, we are always good mobilizers of our people, we will talk to our people, we have always take care of our people’s interest as far as I am concerned. The mechanism there is, we have been going around, consultations, structures are there, we have structures all over. Even our few consultations we have done in the state is something you can see that there are mechanisms.
