Ejakpovi Bags 1st Class At ABUAD

Delta State-born Ese Oghale Ejakpovi has bagged 1st class in Accountancy at Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Ado Ekiti.

At the 10th Founder’s Day and 7th convocation ceremonies of the university held on Monday, Ejakpovi, daughter of renowned politician, Dr. (Pharm.) Nelson Ejakpovi clinched 1st class in Accountancy.

Miss Ejakpovi attributed the feat to hard work and strong belief in God and thanked her parents for encouraging her to bring out her best.

“I am happy that I got first class; our days of sleepless nights reading were not in vain and I thank God for his benevolence; I am also grateful to my parents for their commitment to giving me sound education,” she said.

Reacting to the achievement, Dr. Ejakpovi who was personally at ABUAD to attend the Convocation said, “Oghale has not only made us proud as parents, but shown courage as a worthy ambassador of Delta State in such a competitive stage by this show of extreme brilliance”

“Apart from the first class in Accountancy, she has also, concluded her qualifying exams to be a chartered accountant and we give thanks to God,” Dr. Ejakpovi said.
