Djebah Sets Agenda For Ufuoma-Udu

Chief (Pharm.) Luke Obemiguren Djebah, JP took over mantle of leadership of Ufuoma-Udu Association, UUA, a foremost socio-cultural group in Udu kingdom from Sir Pat Willie, Esq., with a clear agenda for the next three years.

The association election and sworn in of all elected officers was held at Otor-Udu in Udu Local Government Council of Delta State recently.

Other officers sworn in are: Chief James Toka; vice president, Sir Chief Stanley Tesiri; secretary general, Chief Orodje Jeroh; assistant secretary general, Evang., Pius Ghavwan; treasurer, Comrade Sunday Subi, (JP); financial secretary, Deacon Patrick Oyeghe; publicity secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Eyakagba, EA to Delta State Governor on HOSTCOM Matters; organizing secretary and Engr., James Goru; provost marshal.

And members Board of Trustee are: Chief Christian C. Whiliki (JP), High Chief Luke Ogedegbe, Sir (Barr.) Pat Willie, and all past presidents as ex-official

In his inaugural speech, the Ovwata of Udu kingdom described the association as the pride of Udu, sued for cooperations and unity of members to move Udu higher.

Part of his agenda for the association are: Udu Police Command, boundary adjustment issues which he said has been the bane of Udu peace threaten within member communities and neighbour communities, scholarship scheme from all operating multi-national companies for deserving students, liaise with all security agencies for effective protection of lives and properties of Udu people to ensure peace and tranquility, forster stronger relationship with the palace and mutual relationship with all community executives.
