Delta 2023: Governorship Race Is Not For Children With Napkins -Gbagi

Former Minister of Education (State) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has declared his intentions to contest for the governorhip position in Delta State come 2023 with a vow to remove all unemployed Deltans from the streets within his first 100 days in office .
Making the declaration to contest under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in a parley with newsmen at his country home in Oginibu community, Ughelli South local government of the state, Gbagi said, “This business is a business particularly for a state like Delta that requires more than you can understand, hence we are not going to leave this chances for children being pampered or still using napkins.
“There is no room for dullards, no room for children who are still be pampered, there is no room for children who are still using napkins.
According to him, “I have come to change the topography of Delta State and my chances glaring because I have been planning for this governorship position for the past 24 years.
“It will be dull of me to have skimmed and plan for 24yrs and I will fail and when the time comes, we shall separate the men from boys.
“And as an entrepreneur, I spend between N15 million and N18 million to pay salaries to staff of my organizations, so I have the bullets for the race and battle of the governorship position.
“I have declared my intentions and I have started my consultation leading us to 2023 and if after my one year in office if the people are not satisfied with my performance, I will tender my resignation.
“My first 100 days in office will remove all unemployed Deltans from the streets because I have have the bullet to run the race.
“We did not zone the Governorship of the party to tribes but to senatorial Districts and now it has come to Delta Central, it is left for the people to talk to themselves and come up with a candidate.
“Delta Central Senatorial District alone cannot produce the governor of the State but with the brotherhood support of the South and North.
“We must work together with other ethnic groups in the State like we have done before for the candidate to emerge.”Olorogun Gbagi said.
