The Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, has been honoured with the Humanitarian Service Award of the Year at the 2026 Miles Magazine International Awards Night, held in collaboration with Pineleaf Estate at the Stanel Dome, Awka.
The award, presented during the event on Saturday, June 27, recognised SP Ikenga’s outstanding humanitarian contributions and selfless service to society, adding to the growing list of honours he has received during his tenure as the spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, SP Ikenga expressed gratitude to the organisers, saying he was humbled by the recognition.
“I thank Miles Magazine International for this honour. I never knew that my efforts and impact in society were being noticed to this extent. This recognition will inspire me to continue serving humanity with greater dedication,” he said.
SP Ikenga received the award in the company of prominent personalities, including Dr. Nelson Omenugha, Mr. Chijioke Igwendu, popularly known as Yanbaba, and Mazi Ejimofor Opara.
The colourful ceremony attracted dignitaries, business leaders, public office holders and distinguished guests from various sectors, who gathered to celebrate excellence and humanitarian service.
