The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated its Vice Chairman, Elder Chukwudi Abiandu, on his 70th birthday, describing him as an accomplished journalist, media consultant and public relations strategist whose contributions to the growth of journalism and national development remain invaluable.
In a statement signed by its Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha, FCISM, MNIPR, the Forum said Abiandu’s over three decades of professional experience have been marked by integrity, excellence and unwavering commitment to ethical journalism.
According to the statement, the Publisher of Banner Online News has distinguished himself through balanced reporting, insightful analysis and dedication to promoting truth, justice and responsible media practice, earning the respect of colleagues, public institutions and the wider society.
The Forum noted that Abiandu has also made significant contributions to the advancement of online journalism in Delta State and Nigeria, while mentoring younger journalists and media practitioners, thereby leaving a lasting legacy in the profession.
DOPF further lauded his leadership as Vice Chairman, saying his wealth of experience, wisdom and commitment to professionalism have continued to strengthen the Forum and promote unity among members.
It added that his guidance has been instrumental in advancing the Forum’s vision of promoting responsible digital journalism and protecting the integrity of the media profession.
The Forum said, “As Elder Chukwudi Abiandu celebrates this milestone, we join his family, friends and associates in thanking God for a life of service, impact and dedication to humanity.
