Sen Dafinone Mourns, Describes Sunny Kotor ‘s Death As Painful

Delta Central Senator Okakuro Ede Dafinone has described the death of Mr Sunny Kotor, Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Protocol as a painful lost not only to the state government but to those who knew and worked with him.

 

The Senator who mourned the death of Kotor as painful extended his condolences to the state government and relatives as well.

 

He said, “I received with deep sadness the news of the sudden passing of Mr. Sunny Kotor, Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Delta State Government. His demise on Friday, March 20, 2026, is a painful loss, not only to the government but to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

 

“Mr. Kotor was a consummate professional whose dedication, discipline, and attention to duty stood him out in the discharge of his responsibilities. In his role as Protocol Officer, he brought dignity, order, and excellence to state functions, serving with quiet efficiency and unwavering commitment.

 

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Delta State Government on the loss of such a dependable and loyal officer. His contributions to the smooth running of official engagements will not be forgotten, and his absence will surely be felt across the corridors of government.
