WIFE of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has inaugurated ‘Tobore Oborevwori Cottage Hospital’ in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Cottage hospital is part of the ongoing projects of Olorogun Jaro Egbo administration in the local government.
Speaking during the inauguration, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori said, “The decision to name this hospital after me is a great honour that I will not take for granted.
“It gladdens my heart to know that my little contribution is being recognized and I thank God that we are all alive to witness this remarkable event.
“In the history of Ughelli North today, we are celebrating progress, partnership and most importantly, the accessible healthcare to our people.
“I want to commend the council chairman for bringing quality healthcare to our people by breaking barriers in accordance with the More Agenda of the state Governor.
“As you are all aware, the State Governor through the More Agenda has promised all Deltans that he will do more and we all can testify to it.
Recently the Governor provided 8 dialysis machines to hospitals across the state and he has reduced the cost of dialysis from N75,000 to N40,000 and it is worth commending.
“He has also embarked on the renovation of 150 primary healthcare centers a ros the 25 local government areas in the state to Deltans quality and and affordable healthcare.
“With the ongoing flyover project,it stands that the Governor is making steady and tangible progress and we all should support him.” She stated.
Earlier in his speech, the Ughelli North Local Government Council Chairman, Olorogun Jaro Egbo said, “The commissioning of Ughelli borth local government Tobore Oborevwori Cottage Hospital is one of the landmark legacy project for this administration.
“Today marks and another significant steps in our unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare in Ughelli North.
“This Cottage Hospital is part of our agenda to reposition the health center for every resident in the local government to have access to efficient, affordable and reliable medical care.
“The Medical facility is fully equipped with the state of the best healthcare infrastructure in a well structured service layout design to meet the daily meet of our growing population.
“This hospital is built to function as a referral hall to other health centers in the local government to the 35 health centers in the local government in ensuring a seem less and improved healthcare system in the local government.”
