Olorogun Shikaleke Okiemute who was honoured with his beautiful wife, Olorogun Mrs Mabel Ejovwoke Shikaleke, Eferhire r’ Ovie of Agbon was filled with satisfaction at the reception held at his country home in Afiesere community, Ughelli North Local Government Area.
According to him, The Ovie of Agbon kingdom, HRM Ogurimerime Mike Omeru, Ukori May have been briefed about my antecedents of success by my Royal Monarch, Ovie of the Great Ughelli Kingdom, HRM Evang Wilson Ojakovo Oharisi III, while I was the Auditor General of Ughelli Descendants Union, UDU.
“With this traditional bestowed on me and my wife as the Okperin r’Ovie (Big Fish) and Eferhire r’ Ovie of Agbon kingdom, I am determined to do more for our people and the society.
In April 2016, the Ovie of the Great Ughelli Kingdom, conferred on me the traditional title of Udidi r’Ovie and nine years after, May 2025, the Ovie Agbon honoured me and my wife.
“This is a testament to the fact that wherever we are and whatever position we find ourselves, we should always do good as world is watching.
“The Ovie of Agbon kingdom,took me by surprise when he personally gave me the name as Okperin r’Ovie to me traditionally.”
Olorogun Shikaleke Okiemute Emmanuel, a philanthropist, and native of Ughelli Kingdom, is been known for helping the less privileged with non refundable grants.
