US charges two men over ATM ‘jackpotting’

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged two men with bank fraud after they allegedly hacked ATM machines causing them to eject all their cash reserves like a Vegas slot machine. The attack, known as “jackpotting,” is usually carried out by perpetrators dressed as repair technicians to deploy malicious software and/or hardware, while others then exploit the hack to withdraw the cash on demand. Chrisland School supervisor rapes 2 year-old pupil

A supervisor at Chrisland School in Victoria Garden City in Lekki Lagos raped a  two-year-old pupil several times. An ex-social worker, Miss Gloria Chinoyera said this today in a testimony at the newly-inaugurated Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court. The school supervisor, Adegboyega Adenekan, 47, is facing a charge of child defilement.

Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said the commission recovered over N473billion in 2017. India test-fired its surface-to-surface nuclear capable Agni-I (A) ballistic missile off Abdul Kalam Island in its eastern sate of Odisha Tuesday, local media reported. The United States (U.S.) has condemned the attitude of Nigerian and Cameroonian authorities towards the 47 Anglophone detainees who were repatriated to Cameroon from Nigeria. The Economic and Financial CrimesCommission (EFCC) has filed charges at the Federal Capital Territory High Court against Stallion Motors Limited and its Managing Director, Hapreet Singh, for allegedly offering a gratification of N1.275 billion to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2015 polls.
