The new Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has assumed duty as the 10th August 2026, taking over the leadership of the state command following the retirement of his predecessor, AIG Ikioye Orutugu. The Anambra State Police Command announced this in a statement issued on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu.
