Onowakpo, Macaulay Set Aside Differences, Ahead Of 2027 Election

 

The Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and Comrade  Ovuozourie Macaulay have set aside their aged long  political differences for the development of the Isoko nation ahead of the 2027 election.

 

Their coming together meeting, held on Monday in Owhelogbo, when the senator was hosted by Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay country home in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

 

It was learned that both leaders, had political disagreements, despite being in same political party.

Their reconnection is focused on a common goal—promoting development, peace, and stability and step toward unity ahead of the 2027 political season in Delta South Senatorial District.

 

According to sources at the meeting revealed that the renewed alliance is aimed at strengthening cooperation among political stakeholders and improving representation for the people.

Isoko leaders present at the gathering are Rt Rev John Aruakpo, the Bishop of Oleh Diocese of the Anglican, Prince Sam Ogri, Chairman of Delta Megatrend, and Anglican Bishop of Oleh Diocese, Rt. Rev. John Aruakpor and their presence  unilaterally brought both leaders together as they stressed that unity among Isoko leaders is essential for meaningful progress.

 

Observers believe the reconciliation signals a fresh chapter in Isoko politics, raising hopes for greater development and stronger political influence in Delta South.

The stakeholders expressed optimism that this new partnership will bring positive change, as leaders unite with a shared vision for growth.

The message from the meeting was clear: Isoko is moving forward with renewed unity and purpose.
