ASABA-The leadership of Voice of Aniocha/ Oshimili People (VAOP) led by its National President, Comrade Emenike Bieni has Congratulated the newly appointed Commissioner Designate, Hon. Charles Aniagwu on his well deserved appointment to serve on the State Executive Council.
Comrade Bieni spoke who addressed Newsmen today in his office at Asaba, Delta State Capital described Okowa’s Second term administration as a youth -oriented regime.
Voice of Aniocha/Oshimili People (VAOP), a 21st Century Socio-cultural, political, and economic pressure group formed by stakeholders in the four Local Government area of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Anioma Nation, Delta State comprises of youths, Women, critical stakeholders, civil Society organizations, the media, political stakehoders, Professionals, students undergraduates and graduates in the area ; with membership drawn from all ethnic Nationalities of the state, Nigeria and beyond.
The Leadership Commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for remembering one of their own by making one of the most excellent appointment in the history of the State to have appointed Hon Charles Aniagwu as one the Commissioners in his Cabinet.
Comrade Bieni stated that the erstwhile Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a seasoned Journalist of international repute who has endeared himself to media Practioners in the state.
He described Hon. Charles Aniagwu as a man of passion, Consistency, hardworking, articulate media manager, Excellently coordinated the media in the state effectively and worked assiduously during the 2019 general elections that gave the gave Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) the victory in the just concluded Guber election in the state.
‘” VAOP Leadership commends his elevation because he had consistently marketed effectively and efficiently the programs of Delta State Government and the Smart Agenda Policy of this present administration. We are well convinced he will equally Support and contribute maximally towards building a stronger Delta in the state and his office as soon as he resumes duty” , he stated.
