The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Entertainment, Evang. Quincy U.A. Tebite, popularly known as Tisio Tisio, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as visible developmental strides across the state.
Tebite made this known while addressing journalists at the installation of Olorogun Ebennezer Okorodudu as Otota of Ancient Olomu Kingdom by the Ohworode of Ancient Olomu Kingdom, HRM Albert Akpomudje, SAN Eyavwien-Alaka I, at the monarch’s palace in Akperhe-Olomu, Ughelli South Local Government Area.
He said the Oborevwori administration had demonstrated commitment to the development of Delta through projects and programmes across the three senatorial districts.
According to him, “The ongoing and completed road projects, bridges, urban renewal schemes and other infrastructure across the state are evidence that the administration’s MORE Agenda is being translated into tangible development.
The former PMAN Governor of Delta State said the impact of development should be measured by its effect on the daily lives of the people, particularly in the areas of transportation, connectivity, commerce and the general environment.
Tebite who commended Oborevwori for giving attention to the creative and entertainment industry, disclosed that the sector remained a major avenue for youth empowerment, employment generation and economic growth.
He called for continuity in governance, particularly in the execution of ongoing projects and development programmes, urging Deltans to assess the administration based on its projects and programmes rather than political sentiments.
The governor’s aide said development should transcend political party considerations, stressing that the progress, peace and prosperity of Delta State should remain the priority.
Appealing for support, Tebite urged Deltans to take a closer look at the projects and programmes of the Oborevwori administration and support what he described as the governor’s efforts to sustain development across the state.
He urged the people for Oborevwori’s support for a second tenure in 2027,as his continuity would enable the administration to consolidate on its ongoing development programmes.
“As Deltans, we must look beyond political sentiments and carefully examine the visible projects and developmental strides of this administration across our state.
“Where we see development and genuine intentions to do more for our people, we should give such efforts the necessary support and encouragement.
“I therefore appeal to Deltans to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second tenure come 2027, so that the developmental journey can continue.”
