The Nigerian Youth Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), a transformative initiative designed to equip young Nigerian graduates with practical workplace experience and employability skills, has continued to encourage qualified youths across the country to apply as applications remain open.
The programme, funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, is aimed at bridging the gap between education and employment by providing young graduates with hands-on workplace exposure, professional mentorship, and career development opportunities.
According to the Delta State Chief Job Creation Officer, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, successful applicants will be posted to reputable public and private organizations across Nigeria where they will gain relevant work experience while receiving monthly stipends of up to ₦150,000.
The initiative offers participants practical workplace experience, exposure to professional work environments, employability and capacity-building training, as well as mentorship and career guidance from experienced professionals.
Organizers described the NJFP as a strategic investment in Nigeria’s economic future, noting that the programme is focused on building a skilled workforce, encouraging innovation and productivity, and reducing youth unemployment across the country.
He stated that beyond individual career advancement, the initiative contributes significantly to sustainable economic growth and national development by empowering a new generation of professionals capable of driving positive change in various sectors.
To qualify for the programme, applicants must be recent graduates from 2022 or later, must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and must currently be unemployed.
Young Nigerian graduates who meet the requirements have been encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity by applying through the programme’s official portal.
