…..Drums support for Tinubu re-election
Udu local government area of Delta State was in a festive mood on Saturday when the New Dynamic Forum, a political pressure group in Delta state sponsored by Mr Sheba Kris Panama, a technocrat in the oil and gas industry and political machine, was inaugurated with the sole mission of mobilizing massively for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
The colourful event, which took place at the DSC Mobile Police playground, Ovwian, Delta state, drew a mammoth crowd of party faithful, party leaders, political office holders and stakeholders from all ten federal wards in Udu and beyond with one clear message on every lip and that is to deliver massively for Mr. President and Governor Oborevwori in 2027.
Represented by Chief Funkekeme Solomon, the Senior Policy Adviser to the governor and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Delta State, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in his remarks, appreciated the Udu people for the massive show of strength and total mobilization of the Udu populace for the event, urging all to deliver massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 polls and assuring that Udu has so much to benefit if the APC wins all elections in the coming polls.
The governor described the group as a strategic initiative designed to strengthen grassroot mobilization and consolidate on the gains of on-going efforts to reach all Deltans with the gains of good governance.
He commended the convener and National Chairman of NDF, Mr S.K Palama for the vision and commitment to the greatness of the party in establishing the platform, noting that such initiatives demonstrate the power of organized political engagement at the grassroot level.
The governor emphasized that the Forum must move beyond ceremonial displays and functions to be an active vehicle for mobilization, sensitization and effective communication of government policies and achievements.
‘’As we look ahead to 2027, we must remain united, focused and committed. True strength lies not in noise but in unity of purpose’’, governor said, urging the group to serve as a laboratory of ideas and a workshop of action.
He thereafter inaugurated the New Dynamic Forum to the admiration and applause of all, expressing optimism that it would play a pivotal role in shaping political engagement and outcomes in the state.
Those inaugurated are Mr. S.K Palama, National Chairman, Elegbete Barr Moses Odibo, Deputy National Chairman, Hon Mrs Blessyn Brume-Ataguba, National Women Leader, Hon Chief Igho Akpojotor, Director General; Hon Chief Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, Chief Adviser; Comrade Okuku Oghenenyerhovwo, Secretary and Chief Edwin Maveruo, Assistant Secretary.
Others are Prince Obaro, Director of Finance; Chief Jite Brown, Director of Mobilization; Hon Raymond Edijala, Financial Administrator; Comrade Michael Ibada, Organizing Secretary; Hon Mrs Onajite Omovie Oputu, Women Leader; Hon Igho Bivbere, Deputy Organizing Secretary; Engr John Uviejitobor, Publicity Secretary, Hon Lawrence Owumi, Director Strategy; Hon Chief Ernest Mereh, PRO; Mrs Bridget Wategire, Treasurer and Chief Otto Ogbiruveta, Head Directorate of Advocacy.
Also inaugurated was the Elders Council of the Forum with Chief Christian Whiliki, Chief B. J Egbetamah, Chief Steve Sokoh, Chief Fred Okaka and Chief Gabriel Sikprako as leaders while Chief Solomon Kpomah is Secretary.
In their separate addresses, the National Chairman, Mr Sheba Kris Palama and Director General, Hon Chief Igho Akpojotor, expressed delight with the massive turnout, urging all to be steadfast in working for all APC candidates ahead of the coming polls.
Hon Akpojotor particularly clarified that apart from Mr President and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the group has not endorsed any candidate and that their doors were open to all aspirants after which the group will mobilize massively for all candidates that emerge from the primaries.
He commended the Udu people for the demonstration of overt commitment to the ideals of the APC ahead of the coming polls.
Among guests at the inauguration were, Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Arthur Akpowowo, Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode among others.
