Why I Want To Join Hands With Oborevwori Administration As Lawmaker-Rev Ogugu Reveals

Delta State House of Assembly aspirant for Ughelli North Constituency II, Rev Anthony Ogugu has revealed that he want to be part of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration and contribute his quota to the development of the state and the people of his immediate constituency.

 

 

Rev Ogugu gave the revelation during the distribution of free fuel as part of his empowerment to Keke and Okada riders in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

 

Rev Ogugu while speaking during the exercise tagged, ‘Community Fuel Relief Program for Okada and Keke Riders’ at Rainoil fuel station, Ughelli said, “This is something we have been doing for many years and this is the continuation of our outreaches for our local residents.

 

“Things are hard right now, I used to buy fuel for N860 but now it is N1,300 for a liter and for somebody who is doing business, I think this will really help them a lot.

 

“And I want to advise every beneficiary to use the fuel they gotten to go about their various businesses and put food on their table.

 

 

“I was encouraged when of the beneficiaries told me that with the fuel he got from us,he would be able make N6,000 and those are some of the reasons for me to be part of the solution to them.”

 

At Oando fuel station in Otovwodo Ughelli, “I am aspiring for the position of the Delta State House of Assembly in Ughelli and I am just showing a clip of what I will be able to do if I am sent there and I will do more for our people and help them as much as possible.

 

“I have seen so many good initiatives of the state governor, I have seen bridges being built, and massive development and I want to be part of the solution.”

 

Commending the gesture of Rev Anthony Ogugu, a beneficiary of the free fuel, a Keke ride, Mr Sunday said “The free fuel that was given to me will go a long way in helping me and I am grateful to the donor.

 

A female beneficiary, Mrs Uwaifo Celestina who commended Rev Anthony Ogugu said, “For over 10 years, I have never witnessed this kind of gesture, I unwillingly came to try my luck and behold,I got the fuel without stress and I am grateful.”

 

It would be recalled that , Rev Anthony Ogugu sponsored football tournament, free Medical outreach in Agbarho, Ughelli, Uwheru, Ofuoma, Odovie communities in Ughelli North and Oghara in Ethiope West local government areas.

 

On his part, Rev John Ogheneovo,  coordinator of the exercise said, “The exercise will continue in Uwheru and other communities across the local government area.”
