The founder and presiding Archbishop of Dominion Destiny Inc, Archbishop Peters Okhiria, HON, JP, has urged Christians across the globe to serve God with faithfulness, humility and transparency for them to receive divine blessings of the almighty.
This call was made at the Church headquarters while marking the 25 year anniversary of Dominion Destiny Inc in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
According Archbishop Okhiria, “Actually we are celebrating the 25 anniversary of the church, the founding of the church and I want to give profound thanks to the almighty God who made it possible for me to pioneer his work to the living.
“It has been a tough journey considering the fact that the circumstances has been challenging because men are hard draw but in all, we thank God for his grace.
“And I am also celebrating my 48 yrs in the pulpit doing the work of God
“I tagged this anniversary Super Thanksgiving because of the three significant factors that are indelible that we cannot do without.
“One of these things is the existence of the church for 25 years, it has not been easy but God has been seeing us through and he will continue to be with us because we believed in him.
“My confirmation as an Archbishop that is privileged to preside over 14 churches within and outside this country is not taken for granted.
“As at last year, God saved me from a serious sickness, which I called my health survival crisis and I have to put this three things together and tagged it Super Thanksgiving.”
On the growth, membership and survival of the church, Archbishop Okhiria said, “The Church ought to be an agent of transformation, the bridge between God and Man but the problems facing it today is infidelity, lack of transparency, spiritual arrogance and inability to corporate with standard instructions of thr institution.
“The growth of any church is determined by God according to his own prerogative, by his strength and direction and his auction.
“Somebody can have thousands of congregants, millions of branches and yet not in conforming with the standard of God and that is the Bible say many are called but few are chosen.”
“In all, this is my nearly 50 years in the pulpit, I was the founding Pastor of Baptist Church Ekiugbo Ughelli before I resigned without any issues.”
He warned the youths to shun hard drugs, and other criminal activities but they should acquire skills, education to better the society.
