Principal Suspends Prefect, Other Indefinitely Over Allege Gay Involvement In Ughelli North

TWO students of Oharisi Secondary School, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, have been suspended indefinitely over their alleged gay involvement and practice within the school environment.

It was gathered the students whose identity could not be ascertained are in the Senior and Junior classes of the secondary school.
According to sources, “One of the students from SS3 lured his accomplice from JSS2 and they went on the rendezvous.
The SS3 student, sent the school gateman on an errand and while he was on the errand, he blast the boy.
“Not satisfied with his fellow boy student, he called another student and while he was penetrating the boy’s anus, a female student student caught them and she raised alarm.
The source further revealed that a teacher attempted to shout down the female student but she stood her ground because the victim was her brother.
“As at the time of the incident, the school principal was not around  and the case treated at the office of the Vice Principal Academics.
“The students were warned not to relate the matter out of the school premise pending when the principal would be present.
“Later in the day when the principal came, the two students were suspended pending further investigations.
“The parents of one of the students who came to the school to plead with the school authority disclosed that, it was same practice that made them to remove their son from a private to government school.
When contacted, the school principal, Mr Ogra said, “It was only attempt that was made by the students before they were caught.”
After they were caught, their parents were invited and the incident was referred to the disciplinary committee set up by the school management for further investigation of the matter and within the next one week, we will take decision as a school.
“The most painful aspect of the matter is, that the Senior student is one of the  Prefects in the school and until the committee comes out with their findings, they remain suspended indefinitely.”
