The Anambra State Police Command has arrested five suspected members of a criminal gang and recovered suspected illicit drugs valued at N1.45 million, a counterfeit $100 United States dollar note, vandalised electrical wires and N72,550 cash. The suspects were arrested on Thursday, August 20, 2026, when operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, raided a suspected criminal hideout at Nawfia, Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.
