Breaking: Uduaghan Advocates Constitutional Role For Traditional Rulers

Former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has emphasized that there’s need for a constitutional roles for Traditional rulers in the country as part of measure to assist in curbing security challenges.

 

Dr. Uduaghan made this assertion during the Nigeria Union of Journalists (Warri Correspondents Chapel) Annual NUJ Press Week Lectures/Award Ceremony held in Effurun, near Warri Delta State, Wednesday, saying that “our traditional rulers settles most grassroots issues that sometimes snowball into major state or national crisis.

He stated that some serious cases being settled at their palaces are cases that would have needed the attention of the government security agents that may sometimes aggravate the situation.
