The Anambra State Police Command has intensified its all-inclusive operational strategy with renewed collaboration among security stakeholders following a courtesy visit by the leadership of the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS), Anambra State Command, to the Command Headquarters in Awka.
The visit, which took place on Friday, forms part of the Command’s efforts to strengthen inter-agency cooperation in tackling crime and enhancing public safety across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Ibrahim Ezekiel, welcomed the delegation and reiterated the Command’s commitment to proactive policing through strategic partnerships.
He said the Police would continue to leverage collaboration with relevant security organisations to consolidate the gains already recorded in the fight against crime and criminality in Anambra State.

Ezekiel also urged the Nigeria Forest Security Service to sustain its support for lawful security operations by providing credible and timely intelligence capable of preventing and detecting crimes.
Leader of the NFSS delegation, Mazi Destiny Jonas, commended the Commissioner of Police and the Command for their proactive approach to security and appreciated the warm reception accorded his team.
He assured the Police of the Service’s readiness to partner with the Command and other security agencies in promoting peace, safety and security across Anambra State.
The meeting ended with both organisations reaffirming their commitment to deepen operational cooperation, strengthen coordination and sustain stakeholder engagement in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police to build a safer and more secure Nigeria.
