The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Isoko North Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Ozue, and the Nana Peter Support Group have declared Isoko Nation an emerging stronghold of the party, boasting that the APC faces no opposition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The declaration followed a massive turnout of party faithful at the APC campaign flag-off in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area, on Thursday.
The rally attracted party leaders, supporters, youth and women groups from across Isoko North and Isoko South, turning the venue into a sea of broom-waving supporters and political celebrations.
Speaking with journalists at the event, Ozue, the APC candidate for Isoko North Constituency II, described the impressive turnout as evidence of the party’s growing acceptance among the people.
He said the enthusiasm displayed by supporters showed that the constituency was prepared to deliver overwhelming votes for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the Coordinator of the Nana Peter Support Group, Comrade Nana Peter, said the atmosphere at the rally demonstrated that the APC had made significant political inroads across Isoko Nation.
According to him, the massive turnout and excitement showed that the people had made their political choice and were prepared to support the party at the polls.
“The joy here today tells the whole story. Isoko people have decided. The APC has no opposition in Isoko Nation,” Nana Peter declared.
Supporters at the rally described the turnout as a demonstration of genuine grassroots acceptance of the APC, expressing confidence that the party would secure a decisive victory in Isoko North and Isoko South in 2027.
They urged party members to sustain mobilisation across communities, wards and polling units to consolidate the party’s growing political momentum.
The campaign flag-off ended with music, chants and celebrations as supporters pledged to work towards securing victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.
