Comrade Emmanuel Ejovwokeoghene Agbubi has called on Urhobo youths to support his re-election as National Chief Whip of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth Wing Worldwide, ahead of the leadership election scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026.
Agbubi, in a statement, said the election represents another defining moment for the Urhobo Nation and an opportunity to consolidate what he described as the achievements of the incumbent youth leadership led by Activist Blessed Oghenero Ughere.
The election is scheduled to hold at the Urhobo Ultra-Modern Cultural Centre, Uvwiamuge-Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
He said his decision to seek another term was driven by his commitment to continued service to the Urhobo people and the need to strengthen the youth wing as an effective platform for unity, development and representation.
Agbubi urged delegates and supporters to back what he described as a “pragmatic, dynamic, innovative and progressive” team under Ughere’s leadership.
He said: “I once again present myself for continuous service to our people as National Chief Whip of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Ighele Worldwide.
“This is for the consolidation and re-election of the pragmatic, dynamic, innovative and progressive team of Urhobo youth leadership led by Activist Blessed Oghenero Ughere.
“Let’s do it again for our Urhobo Nation. Together with your support, we can make Urhobo great.”
He appealed to Urhobo youths and delegates to participate actively in the electoral process and support the leadership team for continuity.
