Hon Mutu Commended For Free Medical Outreach, Grassroot Empowerment In Bomadi And Patani

In a shining example of people-centered leadership, RT Hon. Nicholas Mutu, the member representing Bomadi and Patani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has once again extended his humanitarian gesture through a free medical outreach across both local government areas.

Thousands of residents have benefitted from the initiative, which is part of his consistent drive to uplift lives through health care, education, and empowerment programs.

This is not the first time Hon. Mutu has rolled out such impactful programs. Over the years, he has become a symbol of commitment and development across his constituency, offering support that touches the core needs of the people—ranging from medical care and youth training to scholarships and economic empowerment.

Speaking during the ongoing outreach, Chief Maxwell Diffre, a respected political figure and philanthropist from Uduophori in Patani LGA, applauded Hon. Mutu for his consistent efforts under the Renewed Hope for More agenda. He noted that the lawmaker’s projects have continued to surpass expectations and have cemented his relevance among his constituents.

“Mutu does not wait for election season to work,” Chief Diffre said. “From free school fees and youth training to empowering women and influencing major developments, he always has one program or the other going on. That’s why we’re not tired of him.”

Diffre pledged to further support the spread of government programs to his community through Mutu’s platform. He assured the people of Uduophori and beyond that more developmental strides would reach them in due time, promising to continue working hand-in-hand with the lawmaker for the betterment of their people.

He also expressed strong political backing for President Bola Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Hon. Mutu ahead of the 2027 elections, saying their leadership has brought renewed progress to the grassroots. “We are fully behind them,” he added.

The medical outreach has brought hope to many. Mrs. Helen Okpdoko, a beneficiary from Uduophori, shared her story with newsmen, saying, “I suffered from an eye condition for years and lost hope. But after the surgery today, I can see again. I thank Chief Diffre for bringing this to our community and Hon. Mutu for making it possible.”

Another beneficiary, Comrade Innocent Ighowhemu, said he immediately informed his sister upon hearing about the program. “She had eye issues too, and now she sees clearly after being treated. Some people would limit such help to family and friends, but Maxwell Diffre ensured everyone was informed.”

Community members also spoke in unison, appreciating both men. “We thank Maxwell Diffre for bringing this life-changing program to our doorsteps and pray that God continues to uplift Hon. Nicholas Mutu for all he is doing for our people.”

With a track record of unwavering service, Hon. Nicholas Mutu stands tall as a true servant of the people, continuing to win hearts and drive development across Bomadi and Patani, one initiative at a time.
