Senate is not for beauty pageant but for real men- Sen. Omo-Agege

By Joel Grandball,

SENATOR representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ovie Omo-Agege has disclosed that the senate is not for beauty pageants but for real men with statements with the interest of the Urhobo people.
He made this statement at Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State during the inauguration of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Campaign Council headed by Chief Francis Atanomenyovwi and Prince Efe Duku as secretary.
This is just as the state chairman of APC, Jones Erue, said that he will be the chairman lead opposition to Government House in Delta
According Omo-Agege, “Not too long ago, I began the process of reelection back to the Senate with consultation to our traditional rulers, thereafter I consulted with the President generals of the 24 clans of Urhobo land and the entire Urhobo nation at PTI in Warri.
“And in that three fora, I gave accounts of my stewardship for the past two years and eight months I have spent in the Senate.
“There I told them that the Nigeria Senate is not a place of beauty pageant for girls or boy who don’t have the interest of Urhobo people but for real men with statements.
“I am going back to the Senate to represent the Urhobo people and not myself because with where I am today, I am comfortable but we must ensure that in 2019, our votes must be protected.
“We have every reason to be proud because Buhari has performed well and in Delta State, through the NDDC intervention, it has constructed more roads than the state government who call themselves road masters.
On his part, State chairman of APC,  Prophet Jones Ode Erue declared himself as the chairman that will lead the opposition into Government House in Delta state in 2019 and it has been ordained by God almighty.
He said, “God told me, I will be the chairman that will lead the opposition to Delta State Government House in 2019 and I believed in the prophecy but we must forgive and tolerate ourselves and work in unity to win all positions.
Erue said, “If we must win election, we must be tolerance, and have the forgiving spirit amongst us and be be vigorous in our Door to Door campaign for our party”.
Also, the All Progrssives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Great Ogboru said, “With the inauguration of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Campaign Council, Delta Central is caged by the APC.
He said,  Now that the real job has started, the team would be working with all others in the state turn things around because our latter days has come and PDP has been caged throughout Delta”.
