Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, assisted by his wife, Dolapo, donned the Santa Claus cap Friday to set the mood for Christmas, just 48 hours away.
He posted the pictures on his Instagram account @profosinbajo, with a message directed to his 72,000 followers and by extension all Nigerians: Merry Christmas and may 2018 be your best year yet.
The post however drew varied responses, with some complaining about the fuel scarcity in the country and some reciprocating the Second Couple’s gesture.
On his Facebook wall, he posted a variant of the photographs, showing only his wife wearing the cap. There was no Christmas message attached.
However, Dolapo ran all the three photographs in her Instagram page @dolapoosinbajo and also wished Nigerians Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. She commands more followers here, 174,000, about 100,000 more than her husband’s. (NAN)
