Olodia Commends Onwo Over Non Okada Empowerment Of 38 Isoko Youths

Former Delta State House of Assembly candidate in Isoko South constituency II, Hon Oreva Olodia has commended the member representing Isoko South Constituency II, at the State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Onwo over his recent empowerment of 38 youths selected from the various wards in the Constituency, describing the non Okada and Keke programme as one of its kind in the history of the constituency.

 

Hon Olodia stated this in a chat with newsmen at Aviara in Isoko South, Olodia said, “This was one of his Onwo  major manifesto and I am glad that he has fulfilled one of his campaign promises.”

 

According to him, “Over the years and among all the past representatives that have represented the Constituency in the State House of Assembly, its only Hon Ferguson Onwo that has done a remarkable empowerment programme for his people. Though the people were not much but he has impacted lives and if the beneficiaries can utilize the opportunity given to them, they would create employment for others.

 

“This gestures it will go a long way to reduce unemployment among youths of the Constituency.

 

“I am glad he did what no one has done in Isoko South Constituency II. Because the era of empowering people with motorcycle has gone. Our political representatives at various levels should emulate this kind gestures to impact more lives in our vicinity and also to eradicate poverty among youths and around us.

 

“I urge him to increase the numbers in his next phase of empowerment so as to increase the number of beneficiaries from each Wards or Communities and this will go a long way to create employment for our youths, women and men within the Constituency.”

 

He however appreciate Hon Ferguson Onwo for his kind gesture towards his constituents and urged the beneficiaries of the empowerment to make use of the opportunity given to them by Hon Ferguson Onwo to develop themselves and create employment for others.
