Delta CP Oyeniyi Sets To Visit Ughelli Area Command On Inspection Tour

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Yemi John Oyeniyi, is set to visit the Ughelli Area Command on Thursday as part of his ongoing inspection tour of police formations across the state.

The visit is aimed at assessing the operational readiness of the Area Command, reviewing policing strategies and strengthening service delivery in line with the command’s mandate of safeguarding lives and property.

It was gathered that the Commissioner of Police would be received at the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Hall at ‘A’ Division, Ughelli, by senior police officers to be led by ACP Olasunkanmi Musiliu, community leaders, members of the Police Community Relations Committee and other invited dignitaries.

The inspection is expected to provide an opportunity for the Commissioner of Police to interact with officers and stakeholders, evaluate ongoing security operations and reinforce the command’s commitment to professionalism, discipline and improved policing across Delta State.

The visit forms part of the Commissioner’s efforts to deepen community engagement and enhance the effectiveness of policing through regular assessment of commands under his supervision.
