NYSC and Federal Government should sanction depraved Anambra state Agunechemba vigilate group for beating and stripping Jennifer Edema Elohor who is undergoing the national youth service in that state.
Anambra state government should pay for not being able to protect youth corps members. Anambra state should pay for using untrained, violent elements as vigilantes.
The young lady should be adequately compensated by the Federal and Anambra state governments.The National Assembly should enact laws to protect youth corpers.
I have said this in a number of times that NYSC should be scrapped to save lives of young Nigerian graduates. NYSC is no longer relevant as many youth corpers have lost their lives during service.
Arresting those vigilantes is not enough but they should be transferred to Police Headquarters in Abuja and be prosecuted under federal criminal laws.
