The Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, on Thursday announced that it would go ahead with their demands for a Biafran State.
The group said “threats and intimidation from Nigerian government” will not deter it from actualizing an independent country.
This is contained in a statement by BNYL Deputy Leader and Head of Biafra Broadcasting Service internet radio, Ebuta Ogar Takon.
It disclosed that the group will further hold grassroots engagements across Southeast and Southsouth states in the coming weeks.
BNYL said this was part of the sensitisation campaign which commenced in Emohua town of Rivers State.
The group also announced a new radio station in London.
According to Ebuta Takon, “BBS Radio broadcast will be censored by the media officials in collaboration with the BNYL Leadership.
“It would not be used to incite hatred or threaten but to serve the purpose of its establishment which is the group ongoing referendum campaign.”
