Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon has extended warm felicitations to the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a courageous statesman and exceptional leader whose contributions to nation-building remain remarkable.
In a statement, Prince Jifas said Omo-Agege’s life has been characterised by determination, resilience, uncommon courage and an unwavering commitment to service, virtues that have continued to distinguish him in Nigeria’s political landscape.
He described the former Deputy Senate President as an erudite, seasoned and result-oriented legislator who was not only a towering figure in the 9th National Assembly but also an indefatigable leader whose wisdom, humility, resourcefulness and leadership qualities inspired countless Deltans and Nigerians.
According to him, Omo-Agege’s tenure as Deputy President of the Senate was marked by unprecedented legislative accomplishments and purposeful leadership that advanced peace, development and democratic governance.

Prince Jifas prayed that the new age would usher the former Deputy Senate President into greater accomplishments, good health and divine favour.
