2.3m daily crude oil production is achievable

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said the federal government’s 2.3 million barrels per day (bpd) crude oil projection for the 2018 budget is achievable. The NNPC Group General Manager, Corporate Planning and Strategy, Mr Bala Wunti, said in Abuja that the projection is realistic. Buhari ready to settle unpaid state debts before Xmas

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed key finance officials to meet with representatives of Nigeria Governors’ Forum to determine how much of their unpaid debts can be released to them before Christmas. Corruption: Chinese army officer, Zhang Yang commits suicide

A senior Chinese military official, Zhang Yang,  under investigation for corruption has committed suicide, Xinhua said on Tuesday.
