A British businesswoman has made a formal offer of around £300 million ($397 million, 338 million euros) for Premier League club Newcastle United, according to British media reports on Monday. Chevron Nigeria Limited, (CNL), an affiliate of Chevron Corporation (Chevron), announced the disbursement of US$2.5 million donated by Chevron to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund), for the implementation of the Chevron-Global Fund Anti-Retroviral Treatment Service Maintenance Program (ART Program), in Delta, Bayelsa, Ondo and Lagos States. The world’s third biggest oil consumer, India, has launched its first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging facility, a major boost to the country’s 2030 target to switch fully to electric mobility. The Federal Government yesterday said it has priced its offering of $3bn aggregate principal amount of dual series notes under its US$4.5 billion Global Medium Term Note programme (increased from US$1.5bn). The notes comprise a US$1.5bn 10-year series and a US$1.5 billion 30-year series.
